Toby the Terrible

Time is flying by and its been ages since I did an update. I promise I will give a full update soon.
Toby at 18 months
We have had a strange few weeks with Toby – one one hand he has been brilliant – learnt to lie on his back when I say “dead dog” and had finally learnt not to run off with every dog friend he meets. He is coming on in leaps and bounds
the bad bit is that he bit my daughter on the arm – not a deep bite but he was defending his toy and this is unacceptable. It left a terrible bruise (did not puncture the skin) and she was very upset (so was I)
He also has a new Mikki Walk-Rite Training Harness and it works a treat

Hi! I’m so grateful I found this blog. We just got our vizsla and we’re struggling to train him a bit. Mostly we’re afraid of his nipping since we have three daughters. How has Toby been since the bite? He’s excessively nippy with my daughters and I’m afraid of it getting worse as he gets older. Toby is just beautiful.
